A Quick and Easy Guide To Making Iced Tea
With insects busily buzzing around the daffodils and the smell of freshly cut grass in the air we can officially say Spring has arrived with a bang this bank holiday weekend.
However, warm weather and alfresco dining isn't the ideal setting for a hot cup of tea. But we have good news because you can turn your BRUU loose tea leaves into a refreshing ice tea. Here's how...
(1) In a pan boil two cups of water and add five teaspoons a loose tea of your choice. Turn off the heat and leave to steep. (Black tea works best but anything goes!)
(2) After 5 minutes drain away the tea leaves and put the pan in the fridge for 10 minutes.
(3) Once cooled pour the tea mixture into a glass jug, add three cups of cold water, a few ice cubes and serve.
(4) And if you want a fruity twist add some diced fruit and a pinch of sugar or honey.
