Wake up to a real treat with our special black tea blend of Assam and Ceylon leaves.
What it is?
Select broken teas from Assam and Sumatra form the basis for an extremely yielding quality, which is strongly reminiscent of East Frisian blends.
Why we love it
It presents a marvelously dark infusion with a malty spiciness, which is at its best when slightly sweetened with a dash of milk or cream.
Where it’s from
Sumatra Gunung Dempo Estate Black Tea. Grown in the highlands of Northern Sumatra, This Estate is named after its volcano that stands 3173 meters above the lush and tropical forests underfoot. Assam, India (Black Tea). There are four distinct seasons in Assam - summer, monsoon, autumn, and winter.
How our drink hits the senses
That emblematic, adored black tea aroma. Close your eyes and inhale deeply. Ceylon and Assam in unity. Two legendary tea cultures begin to entwine. During infusion, the liquor looks so pure. The trapped evergreen leafy goodness is escaping into the waters.
The taste journey
Refreshingly rich in taste. A clean sensation yet a brisk bitterness and refreshingly astringent. Pay close attention and you should sense this on the top of the tongue and at the side of the mouth.
